Waiting is one of the hardest things we experience in life. We often want answers quickly, solutions immediately, and a clear path forward. But God's timing is always perfect, even when it does not match our own.
Throughout Scripture, we see faithful servants of God who had seasons of waiting. Abraham waited for God's promise. Joseph waited through years of hardship before God fulfilled His plan. David waited before becoming king. In every season, God was working even when His people could not see it.
Waiting on the Lord does not mean doing nothing. It means trusting Him while remaining faithful. It means continuing to pray, continuing to seek Him, and continuing to believe that He is working behind the scenes.
Sometimes God uses seasons of waiting to strengthen our faith, develop our character, and teach us to depend completely upon Him. What feels like a delay to us may be preparation for something greater in His perfect plan.
If you are waiting today, for an answer to prayer, healing, provision, direction, or the salvation of someone you love, do not lose heart. God has not forgotten you. He hears your prayers and He remains faithful.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your perfect wisdom and timing. Help me to wait upon You with patience and faith. When I become discouraged, remind me that You are always working, even when I cannot see. Strengthen my heart, renew my hope, and help me trust Your plans for my life.
Teach me to seek You daily and to rest in Your promises.
